 Richard Carrothers

Richard Carrothers is a co-owner with his partner, Dennis D. Hennessy, of the New Theatre Restaurant.  Together they founded Tiffany's Attic and Waldo Astoria, recognized by the Wall Street Journal as "two of the most successful theatres, both artistically and financially, in the country. " More recently the national publication, DramaBiz, declared New Theatre Restaurant "the best run theatre in the country.  Period."  Together they have also produced feature films, mini-series and television movies for Twentieth Century Fox, CBS and NBC with such noted talents as Steve Martin, Walter Matthau, Gilda Radner, Penny Marshall, Lee Remick and Alec Baldwin.

Nedra DixonShannon Durig

After fulfilling a lifelong dream of starring in Broadway's Hairspray, Shannon went on to perform as the lead character; Tracy Turnblad, for a period of four and a half years.  Performing in more than 1000 shows, Shannon is credited as the longest running "Tracy" in the history of the Broadway musical.  Most recently, she wrapped filming the second season of the hit Disney show, Jonas LA, portraying the recurring guest role of Jeanie.  Shannon can be heard as the voice of the fun-loving, singing hairdresser; Arelia, on Disney Channel's Handy Manny.  She credits her success to the love and support of her family ad to the incredible training she received at Miller Marley.

 

 Julia Othmer

Originally from Kansas City, Julia Othmer is a piano-playing siren who's musical performances are always firey and passionate.   She has most noteable performed on the 2010 Lilith Fair Tour and has shared the stage with a range of artists including Sarah MacLachlan, Emmylou Harris, Heart, Regina Spektor and Amos Lee.  Her many awards include National Winnder of the AIDSROCKOHIO Emerging Singer-Songwriter Contest; Runner-Up in the Best Song category at the 2006 Singer Songwriter Awards; "Best Rock Song" from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Recording Academy and was nominated at the Philly Music Awards for "Best Female Entertainer" and "Best Female Vocalist."  Now residing in Los Angelos, Othmer has released her debut album "oasis motel" with producer Michael Blum.

 

David Cohn

A Johnson County Native, David Cohn spend 37 years as a Hollywood casting agent and industry executive.  His career started as an actor in Los Angelos after graduating from Occidental College where he studied professionally with Gordon Hunt, respected artistic director & acting coach. David's acting career in commercials and in televison led him to collaborate with acting classmate, Paul Bengston, to found the Bengston/Cohn & Associates, one of LA's largest and top casting companies.  His company worked on such shows as "The Love Boat" and "The Hotel".  As an industry exec, the span of David's career not only involves casting television and feature films, it also includes managing and producing.
