2011 Winner

Michaelah Burns
Blue Springs High School

A junior at Blue Springs High School, Michaelah is 16 years old and loves to make people laugh. She’s grown up performing and loves everything about it, even the rehearsing! At school, she enjoys participating in the choir, forensics and theatre departments. She appreciates the many individuals who have taken the time to support, teach and mentor her … Mrs. G, Mr. A, Mrs. E, Ms. D, Mrs. Y, Mr. R, & LP. At home, Michaelah is the middle child of a family of seven! She loves and appreciates her parents who have encouraged her pursuit of the arts, have driven her to countless rehearsals and never complained, and have taught her that there are no dreams too big! Grateful to be a part of this fantastic experience, she appreciates the team of Tammy, Philip and Dana, who have helped the group grow their gifts.
